GPSerious: Trick Or Treat (1986)

It's that time of year folks. I keep seeing other sites listing their favorite horror films to watch as we get ever closer to Halloween, but not once did I see a recommend for the 1986 cult classic "Trick Or Treat." Just plain criminal. Please do not confuse this with the very well done but unfortunately mistitled 2007 "Trick R Treat."

Only the tale of metalhead Eddie Weinbauer AKA the "Ragman" is worthy of this title. All you need to know is the Ragman's favorite metal singer Sammi Curr dies in a fire, and he's brought back to life after his latest record is played backwards by our misfit hero. Supernatural shenanigans ensue, and glam metal enthusiasts will appreciate the soundtrack provided by little known 80's hairspray heads Fastway.

Glam it up with the heavy metal stylings of FASTWAY

Look for cameos by Gene Simmons of KISS and Ozzy Osbourne while enjoying this decadent piece of cheesy fun. Perhaps the fact that the DVD is out of print makes this gem lesser known, but if thou art crafty enough to pull off the trick of finding a copy, ye shall surely be rewarded with a tasty treat. "Trick Or Treat" is not part of my Halloween list.............it IS the list.

Witness the RAGMAN.......

bring his heavy metal idol back from the dead.....
